 About Us

About Us

Founded by a team of Consultant Plastic Surgeons we are an ever growing group of Consultant Surgeons with an interest in education, multi-disciplinary working and innovation in surgery.

Our collective experience helps us target specific skill training that we find is difficult to obtain in a purely clinical environment. Our courses are non-competitive and liberal allowing the candidate to absorb and practice the skills in an environment that promotes easy knowledge transference. Conversely the courses are structured to focus the candidate to learn and retain knowledge in digestible aliquots. Our trademark is the use of live demonstration using multi-modal media, followed by guided practice. It is critical for us that the pre-decided objectives are met for every candidate. To do this we ensure a high faculty to candidate ratio and will spend extra time with those who need it or wish to explore the subject further.

The team is actively involved in research and development of new and improved training models. Mr Bell, one of the course directors, has developed bone constructs which are exclusive to surgical-art and used in the Hand Fracture Fixation Course. Another model which is under development is intended to aid nerve repairs in clinical practice and training.

We welcome enquiries/collaborations from any field or specialty.
